1) Atlanta Falcons’ rookie production rankings: Drake London – WR – Round 1, Pick 8

There should be no surprises here as Drake London immediately joins the Atlanta Falcons as the top wide receiver on the team, due to the suspension of Calvin Ridley.

Marcus Mariota throwing the ball to six-foot-six Kyle Pitts and six-foot-five Drake London will be a lot of fun to watch. The receiving duo should be able to compliment each other.

London was on a ridiculous pace at USC before his season-ending injury last year. His talent is incredible as he has been called a ‘more athletic Mike Evans.’ The Falcons know firsthand what type of player Evans can be, so now that they have their own, it should make for some exciting plays for Atlanta’s offense, especially in the red zone.

That is the other thing, do not be surprised if London ends up being the top threat in the red zone for the Falcons. Everyone knows what type of player Kyle Pitts is, and even if he only caught one touchdown in his rookie year, opposing defenses will focus on stopping him.

This is where Drake can feast by high pointing the ball over single coverage in the end zone. The height across this team’s offense should give them an advantage.

But anyways, a 1,000-yard receiving year is well within reach for Drake London, same with the potential for him to hit double-digits in receiving touchdowns. Hopefully, he will deliver in a way that will get him consideration for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
