I think we can all agree that, while it’s still early, the Atlanta Falcons rookie draft class has been about as impressive as possible to this point.

Desmond Ridder has torn it up, Arnold Ebiketie has recorded a few pressures, and Tyler Allgeier has had some impressive runs thus far, but we haven’t even mentioned the Falcons most prized rookie yet.

Daniel Jeremiah predicts Drake London to have a big year for the Atlanta Falcons offense

Daniel Jeremiah, you have probably heard about him, he is one of the most well-known NFL TV personalities and someone who helped cover the NFL Draft when the Atlanta Falcons were on the clock in April.

He recently wrote a piece on his predictions for notable offensive rookies this year, and of course, Drake London was included in it, which is not a shock since he was the highest draft receiver in 2022.

Well, he thinks that London will put up some great stats during his first year in the NFL.

Here are his projections for Drake London:

  • 80 catches
  • 950 yards
  • 6 touchdowns

While you might not be absolutely blown away by the number of yards and touchdowns, especially when this franchise has seen the likes of Roddy White, Julio Jones, and Calvin Ridley, those are still solid stats. The number of catches he predicts is a high number for a rookie wideout.

Consider this: Kyle Pitts had a spectacular first season, no doubt about it, and he totaled 68 catches, so Daniel Jeremiah may expect fewer total yards, but the catches are significantly higher than the Falcons superstar.

It would also tie him with Michael Clayton for the 11th all-time in most catches for a rookie wide receiver. That is nothing to sneeze at.

Julio Jones had 54 catches as a rookie and Mike Evans — who London has been compared to — had 68 catches in his first year. That puts into perspective how solid 80 catches would be.

We have a special player on our hands and if he puts up these projected stats then we should all be pretty impressed.
