6. player. 53. . . . Myles Garrett

The Atlanta Falcons will play DE Myles Garrett and the Browns in week 4

If the Atlanta Falcons could steal any player in the league, this might just be one of their first choices, as he would finally break the long drought of poor Atlanta Falcons pass rushes singlehandedly.

Myles Garrett might just be the Kyle Pitts of pass rushers, he is big, lengthy, fast, quick, strong, and smart. There is a reason he was the easiest selection in the 2017 NFL Draft.

He is six-foot-four, 270 pounds and he claims he routinely runs 20 MPH and ran a 4.48 forty-yard dash in practice. There are no words to describe him.

He is one of the freakiest and most athletically-gifted players the league has ever seen, no doubt about it.

But all this talk about how physically gifted he is but what has he done on the field? Oh, just put up 58.5 sacks in 68 career games.

player. 48. . . . Tom Brady. 5

The Atlanta Falcons will play QB Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in weeks 5 & 18

It is a name that brings up terrible memories for Atlanta Falcons fans and now for a third year straight they will have to try and stop Tom Brady twice in one season.

We all cannot wait for the day that Brady actually retires. He has been dominant against Atlanta and there is no reason to think that will change in 2022. Brady just plays for a better overall team that has Super Bowl aspirations.

There is not much else you can say that has not already been said about the senior citizen that still dominates the NFL.

player. 13. . . . Justin Herbert. 4

The Atlanta Falcons will play QB Justin Herbert and the Chargers in week 9

The young gun ranks one spot higher than Tom Brady because of all the things he can do on the football field.

Justin Herbert came out as the best quarterback from the University of Oregon since Falcons’ quarterback Marcus Mariota. So, you know there will be a post-game meetup between those two.

It is easy to forget how big Herbert is as he stands at six-foot-six and about 240 pounds but despite that, he ran a 4.7 forty-yard dash which may not seem fast but for a quarterback of his size, that is excellent.

Then there is that arm that is one of the strongest in the NFL. He can make any throw at any time, and he has routinely shown that throughout his young career.

Last year he was special, and honestly did not get enough love for what he did. He threw for more than 5,000 yards and 38 touchdowns. He also ran for 302 yards and three touchdowns.

This is going to be a scary matchup for the Atlanta Falcons defense in week nine.
