The decisions on who to cut should be less stressful for the Atlanta Falcons on the defensive side of the ball

Again, the Atlanta Falcons will be required to cut 27 players before Tuesday’s 4 pm ET deadline hits.

Terry Fontenot’s job is not easy on a normal day, but these next few days would be excruciating. Having to tell 27 different people that their dreams of making an NFL roster are all but over would be terrible.

The ray of light, however, would be the fact that a lot of these guys would be eligible to come back as a member of the 16-man practice squad. There have been countless players in the past that start out on the practice squad and end up making a big impact on their team in the future.
