Final prediction for the Atlanta Falcons final roster: Defense

Cornerbacks (6):

  • A.J. Terrell
  • Casey Hayward
  • Dee Alford
  • Isaiah Oliver
  • Darren Hall
  • Teez Tabor

There is no need for any explanation for the two leaders of the Atlanta Falcons cornerbacks group.

There is a lot of excitement around Dee Alford currently, and for good reason. Not only has he been making plays, but he has also been shutting down everyone he faces. Against Jacksonville, he also showed he can be an exceptional tackler in the open field. It would be shocking if he did not make the roster. The only question now is whether or not he will be the starting nickel corner.

Alford’s competition is with Isaiah Oliver who is making his way back from a major injury. He played surprisingly late in the final preseason game which makes you wonder whether or not he will start where he did last season.

Darren Hall has been showing vast improvements. It is reasonable to say that these five corners are set to make the roster. This could be one of the best group of corners in the league.

As for Teez Tabor, he will bring versatility with his ability to play safety. He has also shown off some physicality. His ability to play two positions may ultimately keep him around.
