A new look Atlanta Falcons team will be kicking off the season in week one against the New Orleans Saints. There isn’t any question that the Falcons are heavy underdogs for a roster that has zero expectations in comparison to a Saints team that is expected to be the only threat to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Bucs.

For whatever reason, the Saints have had Brady’s number since he joined the division with their only loss happening in their lone playoff matchup. Brady vs. the Saints is truly a can’t-win matchup for Atlanta Falcons fans. However, fans hate for the Saints, and the fact Julio Jones and Russell Gage joined Tampa this season might be enough to have some Atlanta fans pulling for Tom Brady twice this season.

Atlanta might not be a division contender but they have the pieces to beat New Orleans at least once and could be surprisingly competitive this season. If Atlanta is going to pull off the upset in week one, however, the team is going to need a great game from three players in particular that Atlanta fans should be keeping a very close eye on when week one finally kicks off.
