1. Jason Pierre-Paul

The Atlanta Falcons should take a page out of Tampa Bay’s book and steal a former Buc in free agency. The Bucs this off-season added a number of former Atlanta Falcons most notably Julio Jones and Russell Gage. The Bucs re-tooled their defensive line and look ready to move on without Jason Pierre-Paul.

Pierre-Paul was a huge contributor for Tampa Bay in Tom Brady’s first season with the Bucs. He finished the season with 9.5-sacks and was a problem in the playoff run that ended in Brady’s seventh Super Bowl win. Last season was a different story both for Jason and the Tampa defense as a whole. The unit was injured from the start of the season and far from the same defense that terrorized Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl.

Pierre-Paul finished the season with only 2.5-sacks and seemingly has had little to no market so far. While it could simply be Jason waiting on another Super Bowl contender to come calling the Falcons should at least offer the veteran a role. A rotational edge rusher who could help Atlanta take a leap forward while mentoring their young pass rushers seems like a perfect fit even for a rebuilding roster.
