1. Lamar Jackson

It is next to impossible that the Ravens let Lamar Jackson leave the franchise. However, the negotiations have stretched out far longer than many expected and could open the door to Lamar demanding his way out of Baltimore. If that were to happen a bidding war would ensue and this time the Falcons should be involved.  Lamar is a top-ten quarterback and a career winner even if he hasn’t found his first ring as of yet.

Jackson in Atlanta would be blockbuster for a team who hasn’t been all that interesting since the 2016 season.

Atlanta should be keeping a close eye on the situation and be willing to pay what it takes to bring Lamar to Atlanta if he hits the market. While Ridder does appear to be a very promising prospect he is just that, a prospect. Jackson is a proven winner and franchise quarterback who could win now in Atlanta.

Perhaps the same could be said of Ridder given the chance, however, Lamar is the known commodity and should be heavily considered if negotiations completely break down in Baltimore. While the injury concerns are worth noting the Falcons would have one of the best players in the league at the most important position on the field if Lamar were to hit the open market there is no question his contract would set records. Unfortunately for Atlanta, this scenario is next to impossible for a Baltimore team who would have to be crazy to let Lamar slip away.
