Who are some Atlanta Falcons players that could have a drop in play during the 2022 season?

The NFL is full of volatility, it is so hard to be consistently great in this league and so there are some players we can identify as being candidates to have a decline in play for the Atlanta Falcons.

A couple of them might surprise you as they were so critical to this team a year ago, but due to different reasons, they are on this list.

In fact, the Falcons have a perfect example of a player who has significantly declined over the past two years, that being Deion Jones. Over the first four years of his career, he was known as one of the best at his position, but then he was average in 2020. We all thought maybe it was just a down year for him, but we were all wrong as he was one of the worst linebackers in the NFL last season. Maybe, just maybe, he can return to form but things are not looking good right now.

Julio Jones could also be an example. He is the greatest receiver of this generation but quickly became unreliable in recent years, it happens to every player in the NFL, for the most part.
