1. Buffalo Bills @ Los Angeles Rams

The season kicks off tonight with two teams expected to be in Super Bowl contention all season. Matthew Stafford and the Rams are the defending champs and Atlanta’s week two opponent.  There are two scenarios for Atlanta Falcons fans to consider in this game. If the Bills were to win perhaps it signals a Super Bowl hangover for the Rams and Atlanta won’t endure the complete annihilation it appears they are in for in week two.

The second scenario is hoping the Rams win this game and win decisively perhaps allowing them to overlook the lowly Atlanta Falcons in week two. In all honestly neither is very likely with Atlanta’s game against the Rams likely ending in a lopsided Rams victory.

Still, the game that kicks off the NFL season with Atlanta’s week two opponent and two of the best ten quarterbacks in the league this game should be one of the better regular season matchups.  A portion of Atlanta Falcons fans will be looking forward to seeing former Georgia Bulldogs running back James Cook suit up for Buffalo as well in his rookie season after helping the Bulldogs win the 2021 National Championship.
