The first key for the Atlanta Falcons is to run the ball down New Orleans’ throat

The Atlanta Falcons have the potential to be a very good team when it comes to running the ball, but that’s just it, they could be and in week one they have to be if they want to win.

There are numerous reasons why they have to run the ball. The first is that it will wear down a Saints defense filled with older players.

Some of their best defenders, Demario Davis, Cam Jordan, and Tyrann Mathieu are older players which means, in theory, they will get more tired faster. By running the ball you will wear them down as time goes on, making them less effective, pretty simple concept.

The next reason is that it keeps the Falcons’ defense off the field. It is easier to trust Atlanta’s offense compared to their defense, so why wouldn’t you want the offense to be on the field for the majority of the game?

Jameis Winston is a quarterback who wants to make big plays. Giving him fewer opportunities will decrease the chances of him being successful. It just makes everything easier for Atlanta’s defense.

And finally, it sets up the second key for the Falcons to open their 2022 season with a victory.
