It is never too early to look at next year’s free agency class that the Atlanta Falcons could dive into

Okay, it is early in the season, the Atlanta Falcons just finished their first game of the year but that does not mean we cannot look ahead to next year’s free agency class and see which players the Falcons should pursue and who they should avoid.

As we stand right now, the Falcons are estimated to have the seventh-most cap space in the NFL next year with about $41 million, and they are bound to make moves that will grant them even more cap space.

Watch out for things like a Chris Lindstrom extension, the trading of Calvin Ridley or Deion Jones, or maybe cutting Debo.

However, we will cross that bridge when we get there, for right now, we know that the Falcons will be among the most active teams in next year’s free agency as they continue to build this roster.

With that money come some critical decisions for Terry Fontenot. The last thing he wants to do is make a Dante Fowler Jr.-esque mistake.

Let’s look at three players the Falcons should sign and three that they should avoid.
