The Atlanta Falcons are going to go on the road to take on a very motivated Los Angeles Rams team in week two. Both teams suffered very embarrassing week one performances that left questions about how capable either roster will be this season? For the Rams, they at least have the excuse of facing a Bills roster that is expected to be one of the best teams in the league.

Still, it has to be a motivated roster considering how thoroughly beaten they were in Thursday night’s NFL opener. Jalen Ramsey and Matthew Stafford both had truly awful games that hurt their team leaving both players extra motivated for this matchup against Atlanta.

For the Falcons, it was more of the same in week one with the team surprising a superior Saints roster for three quarters only to choke away a late lead in the final minutes of the game. Atlanta’s decision-makers set the team up for failure in the end and will have a lot to answer for if they continue the trend that sent the last coaching staff out of Atlanta.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at the three most important matchups for the Falcons in week two against the Los Angeles Rams.
