The Atlanta Falcons had two great week one fantasy football performers in Cordarrelle Patterson and Drake London. London was the breakout bright spot for Atlanta finishing the game with 74-yards against a tough New Orleans secondary.  Cordarrelle Patterson was great as well for the Falcons finishing with 136-combined yards and a touchdown.

Kyle Pitts was a week one bust finishing with two catches evidenced only by the box score. He didn’t have an impact in the game and disappeared completely down the stretch for Atlanta. Despite his slow start and London’s impressive week one fantasy managers should approach starting any Falcons this week with a high level of caution.

Only Cordarrelle Patterson and Kyle Pitts are considerations for the Falcons this week with far too many unknowns surrounding the rest of Atlanta’s top contributors.  The Rams secondary struggled against the Bills last week but Jalen Ramsey’s presence is enough to deter many from starting Drake London in week two.

After a rough game from Pitts, it is a safe bet that Arthur Smith and Marcus Mariota will try to get Kyle Pitts involved early in Sunday’s game force-feeding their playmaker the football. This should keep Pitts as a great week two starter despite his week one performance.

Drake London possibly facing Jalen is enough to keep him out of starting lineups with far better options on may waiver wires for week two.

Cordarrelle Patterson should remain in starting lineups, however, considering the struggles the Rams had against the run late in the game against the Bills. Patterson simply needs the ball in his hands to be a big play threat adding in his value as a receiver and it is impossible not to start Patterson as your second running back or flex option.  Despite the presence of Aaron Donald, Patterson is going to have another great game in week two and is well worth inserting into your starting lineup.
