3. Marcus Mariota

Marcus Mariota was good but not great in his debut as the Atlanta Falcons quarterback. A key fumble really hurt the team and somewhat changed the outlook on what was a solid debut for Mariota. The one complaint for Mariota last week aside from his inability to slide was the offense not pushing the ball down the field late when the game started to grow a bit closer.

To win this game the Falcons are going to have to push the ball down the field and Marcus is going to have to have one of the best games of his career. A tall task for a quarterback on his last chance with a rebuilding Atlanta roster. However, if the Falcons have any chance of winning this game Mariota has to be the best he’s been in his career to give the Falcons a chance.

A 300-yard passing day and making an impact in the ground game will be enough to keep Atlanta in the game if Mariota can find a way to deliver.
