Bold prediction #1: The Atlanta Falcons offensive line goes two straight weeks not surrendering a sack

One of the biggest shockers from week one was how well the Atlanta Falcons offensive line played, not only in the run game as they allowed Cordarrelle Patterson to hit triple-digits in rushing yards but also in the passing game where they did not give up a single sack and just two pressures.

It was expected to be a huge weak spot for the Falcons but it was far from that against the Saints and now they will have an even bigger test against one of the greatest players in NFL history, Aaron Donald.

You know how good Donald is so predicting that Atlanta’s offensive line won’t allow Marcus Mariota to be sacked is a huge statement.

Unsurprisingly, Aaron Donald had one of the Rams’ two sacks in week one and he is likely looking forward to his matchup on Sunday.

The good news for the Atlanta Falcons is that Leonard Floyd, who is their second-best pass rusher, may not play as he injured his knee vs. the Bills.

If Marcus Mariota wasn’t as athletic as he is then the likelihood of this prediction coming true would be extremely thin, but with his ability to avoid defenders, it might be possible that he does not end up on the ground Sunday afternoon.
