Bold prediction #2: The Atlanta Falcons sack Matt Stafford at least four times

Speaking of positions that exceeded expectations for the Atlanta Falcons in week one, their defensive line was shockingly good for much of the game against their rivals.

Now they will be facing an offensive line that sustained some injuries in week one and also gave up seven sacks. Every one of the Rams’ five starters up front had 51 pass-blocking snaps but only one of them — right guard Coleman Shelton — did not give up a sack.

For a pass rush that is coming off of a four-sack game against an offensive line that is supposed to be solid, four-sacks might not be that bold of a prediction, but we are still talking about the Atlanta Falcons’ pass rush, a unit that has been the NFL’s worst for years.

Matt Stafford isn’t the most fleet of foot, so if you get close to him, there is a high probability that you will be able to finish the play with a sack.

If the Rams continue to struggle with pass blocking, then the Atlanta Falcons might have a strong chance at ending the game with a win, which would seriously send last year’s Super Bowl champions into a panic.
