Through two weeks of the Atlanta Falcons season, Kyle Pitts has been not only one of the biggest Falcons fantasy busts but one of the biggest in the league. Through two weeks of the season, Pitts has managed 36-yards on four catches and zero touchdowns. While the lack of touchdowns isn’t shocking Atlanta using Pitts as a blocker instead of their primary weapon is.

While it might be tempting to bench Pitts in week three it is still not time to give up on one of the most talented tight-ends in football. Kyle’s lack of targets and using him as a blocker is part of the reason the Atlanta Falcons offense hasn’t been able to make a play in clutch time each of the last two weeks. Whether it was targeting Bryan Edwards on Jalen Ramsey in week two or Mariota running the football late against the Saints in week one either would have been the perfect situation for Kyle Pitts.

Atlanta cannot possibly to continue to refuse to feature Pitts in their passing attack, especially against a Seattle secondary that lacks one clear winnable matchup against Pitts. Starting Pitts in week three might be painful but it is still the right decision for at least one more week.

Cordarrelle Patterson’s production took a huge step back in week two with the Falcons falling behind early and focusing on the passing game. Patterson still managed respectable 41-rushing yards. Patterson should only be a flex option in week three and not a primary option considering how Atlanta has utilized their running game thus far. Featuring Patterson sparingly giving Mariota and Tyler Allgeier carries as well

Drake London continued his breakout campaign with 86-receiving yards and his first touchdown of the year. London is without question a great second option at receiver and should be penciled into the lineup unless he begins to struggle or Atlanta decides to start throwing the ball to their best pass catcher Kyle Pitts.
