2. Kyle Pitts

It is almost as if you force-feed your best pass catcher great things happen. Atlanta finally gave Pitts the ball on Sunday and he ended the game with 87-yards and a handful of big plays. The first play of the game Mariota missed Kyle on a deep shot as well where Pitts had a step on the defender and easily could have made the catch. However, this is a huge step in the right direction and hopefully an indication that Pitts and Mariota are finally getting on the same page and building trust.

Kyle’s numbers don’t fully indicate just how big of an impact he had on this game. His plays often were to keep drives alive or when Atlanta needed play most.

This should be an indication of the norm going forward considering Kyle’s talent and Atlanta’s wish to find a more consistent passing game.
