For once an Atlanta Falcons Sunday ended with reason to feel optimistic about the season with the Falcons beating the Seahawks 27-23 on the road.  Aside from the late defensive plays the biggest factors in Atlanta’s first win of the season were obviously the offense finally getting the ball to Kyle Pitts consistently and Cordarrelle Patterson being Cordarrelle Patterson.

A.J. Terrell bounced back from his early struggles as well, shutting down DK early in the game and looking closer to the elite corner he was last season for Atlanta. While Atlanta won the game and the positives far outweigh the concerns heading into week four there are three players in particular who didn’t deliver when Atlanta needed them most.

Though defensive coordinator Dean Pees has an argument for one of these spots as well a late sack and interception to win the game wiped away the concerning performance in what was a great game from Grady Jarrett. Just how consistently great the defensive lineman consistently is every week is often lost in the mess that has been put around him.  However, it isn’t the defensive line that takes the number one spot on this list.
