1. Marcus Mariota

Marcus Mariota was absolutely abysmal on Sunday and deserves zero credit for the Atlanta Falcons’ win. Often it appeared he was quarterbacking for the wrong side tossing an ugly interception and routinely missing throws wildly that were there for any above-average quarterback. Add in yet another late fumble and it is hard to see Marcus Mariota sticking around as the Atlanta Falcons quarterback much longer into the season.

If this is how he looked against a Browns team missing their two best pass rushers what will he look like in week five against Tom Brady’s Bucs? It is hard not to envision a 4-turnover ugly game that ends with Mariota finally getting benched in week six.

Mariota’s final line 7/19 for 139-passing yards and an interception with 3-rushing yards. It was an ugly game that should have seen Mariota benched and Atlanta giving the rookie Desmond Ridder a chance to win it. It is hard to imagine Ridder could have been worse. Luckily for Mariota, however,  Jarrett and Alford made plays defensively to wipe away what should be talked about this week and that is Marcus Mariota.
