3. Mykal Walker

After a solid three weeks from Mykal Walker, the linebacker had his first rough week struggling early before rebounding and making plays late in the game.  Struggling to tackle Nick Chubb is understandable and a task even the best in the game fail to do. The problem for Walker in this game was early hesitation or making the wrong decision completely and putting himself out of position and failing to have the chance to make a play.

Walker’s ability to fit in Dean Pees’ defense is going to keep him in the starting rotation even if his struggles continue past this game. However, Deion Jones will return at some point this season and attempt to put pressure on Walker.

To be able to trade Deion Atlanta will have to show he is healthy and close to the player he has been in seasons past. If that happens it is possible Walker loses his starting job and a familiar veteran works his way back into good graces in Atlanta.
