We all know the Atlanta Falcons haven’t had problems scoring so far this season. Despite their quarterback often struggling the offense has still managed to score consistently and help take pressure off of the defense.

In the past four games, they’ve managed to rank in the top 15 on offense (according to ESPN’s Team Total Offense Stats of 2022). The issue, however, lies in the scoring defense. And with ATL’s most lethal offensive weapon on injury reserve for at least four games, the Falcons may be in for a bit of trouble on both ends.

If the Falcons are going to stay afloat and avoid a dreadful mid-season decline, they’ll have to capitalize on their secret weapons. In this article, we’ll focus on the “X-Factor” for each of their next three components. These key elements could preserve ATL’s chances of playoff contention.
