Tom Brady and the Atlanta Falcons will always be connected, which is not fun as a Falcons fan. He has simply dominated them and it is beyond frustrating.

Obviously, Brady handed the Falcons the most crushing loss in sports history, yes all of sports. No team has ever had a more painful loss, I do not care what anyone else says.

He also has taken away the dominance the Falcons had against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Atlanta has not taken down the Bucs ever since the Bucs sold out on Tom Brady and they haven’t even won a game against Brady ever. However, this upcoming week will be their best chance to take down Brady and the Bucs.

This is the Atlanta Falcons’ best chance to break the losing streak vs. Tom Brady, Bucs

The Atlanta Falcons have never beaten Tom Brady in ten games spanning over 20 years. From 2008 to 2019, the Falcons were 16-7 against Tampa, but now are 0-4 since then.

Needless to say, Brady fixed this franchise pretty quickly and fixed their issues against Atlanta.

The Falcons have only played one game in the past two years against the Buccaneers where they didn’t lose by at least 13 points. The only game they didn’t lose by that much came in the game that started the losing streak when they lost by four. Safe to say, the Dirty Birds haven’t really stood a chance against the Bucs in recent times, but that changes this week.

The Buccaneers have not looked good this year, even in the two games they have won. Their offensive line has been quite bad and their running game ranks as the second-worst in the league.

If you cannot pass protect efficiently and cannot run the ball at all, life is going to be difficult, even with Brady.

Not to mention, Tom Brady, Donovan Smith, Chris Godwin, Breshad Perriman, Russell Gage, and Julio Jones are all not fully healthy and Cameron Brate has already been declared out. Their offense is almost in shambles, but then again, do we really expect the Falcons to shut them down? No, not really, but there is still hope.

The Atlanta Falcons offense relies heavily on the running game and the Bucs will be without one of their biggest run stoppers in Akiem Hicks. That is a big break for Arthur Smith as trying to push both Vita Vea and Akiem Hicks in the running game is a monumental task.

So, the Falcons might be able to continue their success on the ground, keep the ball out of Brady’s hands, and make a couple plays against him on defense. If they complete that game plan then they can snatch a win against Tom Brady for the first time ever.

Overall, due to the health of Tampa Bay and the way the Falcons are running the ball, this is our best chance to finally get a win against Tom Brady, which would also put us in sole possession of first place in the NFC South and really put the league on notice.

Next. Matt Ryan wishing he was back in Atlanta. dark
