1. Grady Jarrett

Three weeks in a row Grady Jarrett has made plays to set the Falcons up to win the game. Despite the terrible call not going his way, Grady deserves so much credit for the way he has played the first five weeks of the season. Starting the first week against the Saints this is the best Jarrett as looked in his career being absolutely relentless no matter the score or the situation.

This effort has shown up at the end of games for three straight weeks. Getting a sack is close to impossible in this league with quarterbacks that get the ball out in two seconds and offensive lines often chipping or double-teaming a team’s best pass rusher.

Making a play on the quarterback at any time is extremely impressive. Jarrett is making these plays not only with regularity but making them at the end of games when the Falcons’ chances of winning are hanging in the balance. Against the Seahawks and Browns, Jarrett has an argument as THE player who decided both games making late sacks to set up interceptions late against both teams. He deserves the same amount of credit for sacking Tom Brady this week to give the offense a chance to win the game. While he may have been robbed of that chance he made the play and deserves credit for this game despite the terrible call.
