1. The Atlanta Falcons can compete with anyone this season

While we already had this belief after the Falcons competed with Tampa Bay and the Los Angeles Rams this game serves as further confirmation of this fact.  The system that Arthur Smith has in place is very simple, run the football and rely on Kyle Pitts, Olamide Zaccheaus, and Drake London to make plays.

Atlanta isn’t likely to blow a team out using this system, however, this also ensures they will always be in the game late. Marcus Mariota forces the defense to respect his abilities to make plays with his legs and if he throws the ball as well as he did on Sunday helps this offense be close to unstoppable with London and Pitts both on the field.

Atlanta’s first five weeks have included the 49ers, Saints, Bucs, Rams, and surprisingly good Seahawks team and they are 3-3 on the season with an argument they could be 6-0. Arthur Smith’s strategy and the belief that this team now holds because of their head coach will give Atlanta a chance every week this season.
