The Atlanta Falcons are coming off an upset win in Atlanta over a San Francisco team considered to be one of the top contenders in the NFC. The road doesn’t get any easier for Atlanta this week, however, with the team preparing to take on the defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals.

There isn’t any question the Atlanta Falcons will once again be understandable underdogs taking on a Bengals team coming off of a nice win in New Orleans.  While winning in New Orleans is never easy the Falcons can take some comfort in how easily New Orleans moved the football. While Andy Dalton struggled early the Saints rushing attack came up with big plays that helped put up points and give the Saints the early lead.

Atlanta’s rushing attack has been far more potent than New Orleans’ so far this season leaving plenty of reason to think that week seven will yet again be Atlanta playing keep away and taking pressure off their defense.

The Bengals while talented on defense are certainly a worse run-stopping unit than San Francisco and should offer the Falcons to operate with a similar gameplan if the team can find a way to slow down these three Bengals.
