As the Atlanta Falcons prepare to take on this Cincinnati defense, there is one player who they know quite well that they will need to shut down in order to have success on the offensive side of the ball.

That player is former New Orleans Saint Trey Hendrickson who signed with the Bengals during the 2021 free-agency period.

Hendrickson is the guy that will blow your passing offense up if you are not careful. He has grown as a pass rusher each season he has been in the league. The Falcons may not be a team that drops back and throws the ball 50 times but during the select plays that they do, Jake Matthews cannot let Hendrickson get to Marcus Mariota.

What you worry about with Mariota are the turnovers. Hendrickson will be coming from his blindside which means at any moment he could knock the ball right out of his hands forcing a game-deciding turnover.

You just cannot let that happen, especially when you consider the offense that is on the other side. Turnovers will decide this game and Jake Matthews could be the reason the Falcons either win or lose the turnover battle.
