With 26 players set for free agency, which players should the Atlanta Falcons retain?

The Atlanta Falcons are in a fantastic place when it comes to their projected cap space following the conclusion of this season. They have plenty of money to retain a number of their 26 free agents and bring in some new pieces to help this team reach new heights

It will be the most exciting offseason for this team in quite some time since they will have the ability to be as active as anyone during free agency and to make it even better, each one of their division rivals will be backed in a corner due to their lack of cap space.

We will look at four familiar faces that the Falcons need to sign before they leave for a new city, starting with the most exciting position in football.

Bradley Pinion – Punter

Yes, the Atlanta Falcons need to make it a priority to bring back their punter. Bradley Pinion has been extremely good this season and there is zero reason they should let him walk out the door come 2023.

He plays punter for heck’s sake, how much can he even demand?! We will have to see but assuming he doesn’t ask for $100 million, Terry Fontenot should sign him to a long-term contract and secure the position for the foreseeable future.

Not much else you can say about this, other than saying once again, that there is no reason to look elsewhere for a punter.
