4 Observations from Atlanta Falcons ugly loss to Joe Burrow

For the first time this season, the Atlanta Falcons played a game in which there is no doubt which team deserved to walk away with the victory. Losing 35-17 the Falcons were clearly the inferior team and unable to keep up with Joe Burrow and an explosive Cincy offense.
Though Atlanta dropped to 3-4 on the season they remain tied with Tampa Bay for the division lead with a very winnable game against Carolina coming up next week.
Atlanta’s season outlook has quickly changed with a surprisingly terrible NFC South and a real chance at contending for a wildcard due to a weak NFC and Arthur Smith’s impressive coaching seven weeks into the season.
Despite the blowout loss the Atlanta Falcons will remain division and wildcard contenders in the next three weeks.
Before we begin to look too far ahead, however, let’s take a look back as the biggest takeaways from week seven and what Atlanta can learn from the road loss.
