2. Atlanta is fun to watch

This is something that one would have a hard time honestly saying since the 2016 run to the Super Bowl. Since that time the Falcons were clearly broken and unable to overcome the demons from Tom Brady’s improbable comeback.

Even in a blowout loss, the Falcons found a way to be fun hitting a deep shot before the end of the first half and following it up with an explosive punt return from Avery Williams. While watching the Falcons lose 35-17 might not have been terribly fun it was the first week in which Atlanta truly didn’t seem to have a shot at a late clutch win.

Every other game this season Atlanta has clawed its way back into or been in the lead and given fans a reason to be entertained. It is no longer how will Atlanta blow the game but rather how will the Falcons find a way to compete? Arthur Smith is changing the culture and outlook of this team and it shows in the product even if Atlanta is far from a contending team.
