The Atlanta Falcons take on the Carolina Panthers in week 8 in a matchup for two teams coming off of polar opposite weeks. The Falcons were handed their first one-sided loss of the season with Joe Burrow and the Bengals blowing them out.

Carolina after trading away their star running back and their second-best receiver somehow found a way to beat Tom Brady’s Bucs despite arguably being the worst team in the league. Carolina is a team that has shown they will continue to fight this season and Atlanta with Marcus Mariota under center isn’t capable of blowing any team out as long as he remains the starting quarterback.

This game is going to be much closer than many expect it to be with the dividing factor being Atlanta’s superior offense against Carolina’s obviously superior defense. While the Panthers have the edge defensively there are two clear players on offense the Falcons need to get out of rhythm early to have success in this one.
