The Atlanta Falcons will have their hands full vs. the Carolina Panthers

The Atlanta Falcons’ week eight opponent might just be the worst team in the entire NFL, and if they aren’t then they are a close second to the Houston Texans.

The Panthers are a team that is on their third-string quarterback, which is never good but considering they clearly don’t even have a good QB when fully healthy, it becomes obvious that this team is in shambles.

Everything points toward the Falcons having their way against their division rival, but that’s just it, they are division rivals,  meaning anything could happen, especially this year.

Carolina has won two games this year, both came in upset victories against the other two NFC South teams — the New Orleans Saints in week three and most recently the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just last week. They have managed to outscore their two division rivals by a combined 25 points in those two games.

You get the idea by now, the Panthers are going to fight the Falcons to the finish line. They are not going to play like your usual worst team in the league.

This all means that the Atlanta Falcons will need a select few players to rise up for them to get their record back to even.
