The Atlanta Falcons lead the NFC South after beating Carolina 37-34 in a game they should have lost after appearing to have it locked away with less than thirty seconds on the clock.  Atlanta gave up an unforgivable prayer of a touchdown throw and gave Carolina the chance to take the division lead and put Atlanta back at the bottom of the division.

Instead, the Falcons got lucky with the Carolina kicker missing a long PAT due to a D.J. Moore celebration penalty. Atlanta threw one deep pass that failed to connect before taking a knee and playing for overtime. Getting the ball first the Falcons had a chance to end the game but Mariota threw an ugly deep pass that was picked off and returned to set up what should have been the game-winning field goal.

The kick missed and Atlanta was able to take advantage driving the ball into field goal range and Younghoe Koo walked it off. While Koo is the obvious MVP there are three other Falcons who deserve immense credit for their games against Carolina.
