The Atlanta Falcons will take on the Carolina Panthers Thursday night in a game with huge division implications for Atlanta.

It hasn’t been two weeks since the Atlanta Falcons won an overtime thriller against the Carolina Panthers and put them back in the basement of the NFC South. Now after a heartbreaking loss to the Chargers the Falcons will travel to Carolina against a team looking to return the favor and push the Falcons further behind Tampa Bay.

While they are currently tied record-wise the Bucs lead the division over the Falcons due to winning the current tiebreaker in week five. A game that included a memorable Grady Jarrett sack in which the league was reminded you aren’t allowed to tackle Tom Brady.

For Atlanta to continue to be surprising division contenders this is obviously a must-win for a team that cannot afford to drop a winnable game with Brady’s team looking as if they figured it out against the Rams. For Atlanta to win the game in Carolina there are three players in particular who must step up and be better than they were in week nine.
