The Atlanta Falcons should give OLB Arnold Ebiketie a starting role

There might be a common theme of Atlanta Falcons rookies on this list but usually, those are the players who show flashes but still aren’t on top of the depth chart.

You can understand why rookies usually sit behind veteran players, the veterans tend to be more reliable players but what does it matter if the starter is reliably bad?

Ade Ogundeji has not had the kind of year that anyone hoped for. He had moments as a rookie but still showed why he was a later-round pick in the draft. He was given a starting role to begin the year and still has that role but he should be replaced by Arnold Ebiketie.

Ebiketie is the more highly-touted player for the team and he has shown he can get to the quarterback more consistently than Ogundeji. While it is a position that gets switched up during games, Ebiketie should be listed as the starter opposite of Lorenzo Carter.
