The Atlanta Falcons should give LB Troy Anderson a starting role

The play that the Atlanta Falcons have gotten from their linebacking core has been sub-par, to say the least. Rashaan Evans has been the least of their problems, so we won’t pick on him, but Mykal Walker, on the other hand, has been quite abysmal.

Troy Anderson, the other second-round pick by the Falcons this year, should take over next to Rashan Evans to start each week. Walker has been a liability, and while Anderson hasn’t been too great himself, he has still made more plays.

Dean Pees has switched the two mid-game depending on how Walker has been playing, so at least they see what most fans see. It usually doesn’t take long for the rookie to come out so why can’t we stop the nonsense and just play him from snap one each week?

After all, the defense has been horrendous on every level, so making this small change can’t hurt.
