The Atlanta Falcons will need Lorenzo Carter and other OLBs to step up in week 11

The Chicago Bears have been relying on the quarterback option game for weeks now, so the Atlanta Falcons must get excellent play out of Lorenzo Carter and all of their other outside linebackers in order to stop what Chicago does so well.

Justin Fields has only passed for over 200 yards in one game this season, which means they are obviously going to try and run the ball first. Fields has had back-to-back games with 140+ rushing yards, the zone-read game is going to be the key for the Falcons’ defense.

The outside linebackers are going to be the reads for Justin Fields on most plays, they need to be able to trick him into making the wrong read or just slow him down enough to allow other players to get to him.

There is going to be a ton of pressure on the linebackers in this game, so they will need to play better than ever.
