Atlanta Falcons key #3: Catch the easy interceptions

Against the Carolina Panthers, the Atlanta Falcons defenders had way too many dropped interceptions, it was beyond ridiculous. The third key is quite simple, just catch those passes that you couldn’t on Thursday Night Football.

Atlanta is preparing to take on a quarterback who is bound to make one or two terrible mistakes a game, so you have to cash those opportunities in.

Last week, the Lions had just made it a one-score game against the Chicago Bears, and on defense, they pressured Justin Fields who threw the ball right to Jeff Okudah who picked it off for a game-tying touchdown in the fourth quarter.

He has shown that he will make some dumb mistakes as a passer, so you need to catch those bad passes when they happen. One simple catch or drop on defense could be the difference between the Falcons keeping pace in the NFC South or having a tough climb out of a hole.
