Be grateful that the Atlanta Falcons are young, talented, and on the rise

Think about the narrative around this team back in July and August, many outsiders felt like the Atlanta Falcons would be worse than the Houston Texans, which has not been the case at all.

This team is different, for the first time in seemingly forever they are young and are clearly a talented team that will only get better and better.

Just a year ago, it felt like this was an old team that didn’t have a clear direction but to their credit, Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot stuck to their plan to reshape this team fairly quickly. They eliminated a lot of older players, collected assets to get younger, and will finally have money to spend in free agency after the season.

Things are starting to look up for the first time in years and that is all we have wanted.
