Sheldon Day – DT

Sheldon Day is your typical defensive tackle who is not flashy but still gets the job done, and at this point, anything would be much appreciated for the Atlanta Falcons.

Day played sparingly last year for the Cleveland Browns and totaled 11 tackles and two sacks, but stats are not where he makes his mark. He is a six-foot-one, 290-pound interior defensive lineman that can help eat up blocks and free up Grady Jarrett to register the sacks.

He is in no way the same type of player as Ta’Quon Graham, but at this point, you are not going to find anyone that plays similarly to Graham.

Again, nothing here is flashy. He won’t attract eyes, nevertheless, he is a veteran that can help out the other players that have already helped out the team this year. Something is better than nothing.
