First Atlanta Falcons key: Force Taylor Heinicke to pass from the pocket

Last week, the Atlanta Falcons had their hands full as they tried to contain Justin Fields and his running ability. All things considered, they did a phenomenal job as they limited Fields to under 100 yards on the ground.

Taylor Heinicke may not be a running quarterback per se, but he is trying to make plays by scrambling around to allow his receivers to get open. The edge rushers for the Falcons need to be disciplined and limit the scrambling lanes.

Making Heinicke pass the ball from the pocket is a recipe for success. They played him last year and he was able to make his way around the backfield with ease, and it cost the Falcons in the end.
