The Atlanta Falcons are suffering from the center position on the offensive line

Turn on an Atlanta Falcons game and it won’t take you long before you see a low snap that Marcus Mariota has to dig out. It is happening so routinely with Drew Dalman that it is simply ridiculous.

It is clear, at least right now, that Dalman is not the answer. Call me crazy but Matt Hennessy should have been starting from day one because at least he can snap the ball and run block, Dalman can hardly do either. Cordarrelle Patterson got blown up on his third run against the Steelers because Drew Dalman was thrown like a ragdoll.

Sadly, there is no clear fix right now. This seems like a position the Falcons will need to address in free agency rather than the draft. Finding that veteran center (ala Alex Mack or anything close to him) would help this offense out a lot.
