1st bold prediction: Atlanta Falcons rookie QB passes for 1,000 yards in final four games
The Atlanta Falcons will enter their game against the New Orleans Saints as the 31st-ranked team when it comes to passing yards per game. They have averaged just 155.7 passing yards per game.
Predicting Desmond Ridder to pass for 1,000 yards in the final four games means he will need to improve the passing game by about 60%. He will need to average about 95 more passing yards per game than Marcus Mariota did.
Is it doable? Certainly, but this is a lofty bold prediction. Especially when you consider that he will have to do it against the Buccaneers and then two defenses that have struggled at times but have the ability to shut down opposing offenses at any point with the Saints and Ravens.
I do believe Desmond Ridder can do this because there have been a lot of passing yards left on the field every week this year. If Ridder can be a consistent and accurate passer, this is well within reach.
