Rashad Fenton – CB

When the Falcons first traded for Rashad Fenton there was some optimism. At the time, A.J. Terrell was injured and the Falcons had to play Cornell Armstrong opposite of Darren Hall.

Fans were begging to see anyone other than Armstrong who was getting burnt 24/7. Terry Fontenot made a small move by bringing in the Chiefs’ corner via trade. He had some success in years prior with KC but struggled mightily this season.

The Falcons eventually threw him in there for Armstrong and the next thing we knew, we were begging for Armstrong to be back on the field. Luckily, he really only played in that disappointing loss to Carolina and since then it has been a whole lot of nothing.

The good news is that they basically traded Dean Marlowe for him, so, at worst, it was a trade that came out even. Don’t anticipate seeing Fenton at all down the stretch.
