Every team in the NFL is dealing with its fair share of injuries. The Atlanta Falcons don’t have Kyle Pitts and now lost Caleb Huntley but they could also be avoiding three of the Ravens’ Pro Bowl players on Saturday.

It would be the latest edition of Atlanta avoiding star players as they have avoided guys like Myles Garrett, Nick Bosa, and Chase Young.

The Falcons might miss some more star players in their game against the Ravens

The Atlanta Falcons will take the road, yet again, in week 16 against the Baltimore Ravens. It will be another hostile environment for the Falcons’ rookie quarterback, but he may avoid going head-to-head against a league MVP and two Pro Bowl defensive players.

The Ravens were able to get J.K. Dobbins and Marcus Williams back recently but then they lost Lamar Jackson a couple weeks ago, and Calais Campbell and Marcus Peters in their recent loss to the Browns.

It seems almost certain that the two defensive players won’t play. As for Lamar Jackson,—who the Falcons would love to avoid—they have anticipated that he will return against the Falcons. However, he has an injury that will have to be tested before the game, so he could end up sitting out.

If Jackson doesn’t play, then it will be the undrafted quarterback Tyler Huntley who will start. He struggled on Saturday as he had a couple bad throws and could only led his offense to three points—although, Justin Tucker did do the unthinkable and missed two field goals.

If Atlanta does end up avoiding these three players then they have no excuse not to win. They remain in the division race but they are running out of time to jump to first place. Winning in Baltimore will be the first step.
