Second Atlanta Falcons gift: Being the only NFC South team with a bright future

You know we had to take a shot at the Atlanta Falcons’ fellow NFC South members in here. The Falcons do have the brightest future in the division and we will talk about why.

The Buccaneers likely won’t have Tom Brady a few months from now, and even with him this year they have been awful. They also have no cap space.

Then you have the Saints who are the true trainwreck. They—by a wide margin—are last in the league in projected cap space. They are awful right now and traded away their first-round pick that might end up being a top-ten pick. The roster is essentially a retirement home. There just isn’t much to like about their future.

The Panthers are really the only team that can threaten the Falcons but they still don’t have a full-time head coach. They have a bad situation at quarterback and, simply put, they are the Carolina Panthers…

The Falcons can dominate this division soon if they play their cards right.
