Falcons: 3 Georgia players to keep an eye on in CFP Peach Bowl
How can you not be intrigued by Darnell Washington? Yes, I know, the Atlanta Falcons already have Kyle Pitts, but this is an Arthur Smith offense, he could benefit greatly from having two athletic freaks at the position.
Washington is six-foot-seven, 270 pounds (!!!), and runs like he weighs 30 fewer pounds. Having the Unicorn and him would be so much fun. Not to mention, he could turn into an excellent blocker so that Pitts can escape that role in the offense.
Adding this mammoth into the offense would increase the team’s offensive production, there is no doubt about it. It would open up so many things for Arthur and would give him three giant playmakers.
Is it the most pressing need? No, but it is an exciting dynamic to think about. The crazy thing is, he isn’t even the best tight end on the team.
