3 risers and 3 fallers from the Atlanta Falcons’ season-defining loss to Ravens

The Atlanta Falcons went on the road—for the final time—to take on the Baltimore Ravens in what turned out to be a season-defining game. They fought in the cold only to have the expected result on the final scoreboard.

With that loss and the eventual victories by the Panthers and Saints, the Dirty Birds are officially barred from ending their playoff drought. As disappointing as it may be, it is the best result in the long run. As fun as it would be to see them try to upset another team, they are clearly not equipped to win a Super Bowl just yet. We can just leave that disappointing postseason loss to one of the other three teams.

Anyways, we are going to focus on who stood out in the loss and who flopped. While the result wasn’t what we wanted, there were still some great efforts by our players, and, as always, some disappointing performances.

The rest of the season will be focusing on who plays well and who doesn’t. So, let’s get to some of those players who helped their stock and those who hurt their stock.
