The progression that the Atlanta Falcons rookie quarterback made from his first start to his second is evident.

Desmond Ridder was much more careful with the ball but he was also willing to throw some darts to Drake London. There is a fine line between aggressive and reckless. Against the Saints, he was reckless at times but against the Ravens he was aggressive.

I, personally, loved what I saw from Ridder and he will be able to show his talents against a shaky Cardinals defense on New Year’s Day.

↓Darren Hall↓

One thing that has flown under the radar these last two weeks is how the Falcons have been benching Darren Hall partway through games.

It happened against the Saints as Cornell Armstrong replaced him. Initially, it seemed like he was injured but the same thing happened in Baltimore. Dean Pees has been giving Hall a short leash in recent weeks.
